Every single day of my life

I’ve been thinking about the day I’ll die

What would people say

If one day I just go away

Would they give it some thought

Would they shed a tear

Or would they silently pass by

Will I be remembered

For the things I never tried

I can keep living in a bubble

But when it bursts

I better have a place to land

Everywhere I go

I see people all tangled up in their own lives

Waiting for a breakthrough

That might never even arrive

But who am I to think

That I am any different in their eyes

Taking up space needed

By others that have rights to shine
